Bd4 {is a more sensible move. Then} Bxc3 15. bxc3 Rxe2 {  wins a pawn but after} 16. a4 {White has obvious compensation.}) 14... Bc5 {  Here White fell into a long think and exceeded the time limit! Nd4 {White is just a piece ahead for a pawn.} f4 $2 {  This makes things even worse for Black, as White can just take the e-pawn.} 13.  Nxe4 Nf5 14. Bb2 f3 $2 {This does not achieve anything other than lose another  pawn.} 15. Bxf3 Nh4 16. Bg4 Rf4 17. Ne6 $1 Bxe6 18. Bxe6+ Kh8 19. Bxg7+ Kxg7  20. Qd4+ Kh6 21. Qe3 Qf8 $2 (21... g5 {had to be played, although Black's  position remains hopeless.}) 22. g3 Nf3+ 23. Kh1 {Black decided that enough  was enough and resigned.} 1-0
